When I was young I dreamt of more than this, I thought up bigger things. I swore by now I'd have it sorted out, I'd have it wrapped around my fingertips. Like epilogues of optimists, but nothing seems to go like this. And in a town passed over by revolution, nothing ventured, nothing gained, would you wish it all away? For content with all you've ever known, but sometimes you've got to go, you've just got to go. So do you think that we can take this truth, whatever it may be? The comfortable is fragile too, it's just harder for us to see. Blinded by familiarity, that's keeping us from all that it could be. And in a town passed over by revolution, nothing ventured, nothing gained, would you wish it all away? For content with all you've ever known, but sometimes you've got to go, you've just got to go. So tell me how you'll reconcile the chaos of this captive heart, Intrigued by running wild, and tales of wandering bohemians. In these shackles we've absorbed, as if the still could keep us safe, But fortresses can only save us from ourselves, So shake your chains, shake your chains. And in a town passed over by revolution, nothing ventured, nothing gained, would you wish it all away? For content with all you've ever known, but sometimes you've got to go, you've just got to go.

Oh my dear, where do I begin? All I know is changing. And I'm unsure, of what I need to do. And I can't keep up, the way I used to. Take my thoughts, just for one day. Take it all, take it all away. Take it all away, and I'll go home. Where I can be myself, and no-one needs to know. And in our aftermaths, When all is said and done, We've lived a thousand lives, And dreamed a thousand more.
